Identify Key Market Reversals with APX Failed Auction Detection

The APX Failed Auction Detection indicator is a powerful tool designed to highlight bars where the market has rejected price extremes, signaling potential reversals or exhaustion points. By detecting bars with no top wick or no bottom wick and sufficient volume, it visually marks these “failed auctions” on your chart with arrows and labels for immediate recognition.

• Detects bars lacking either a top or bottom successful auctions, indicating failed auction scenarios

How It Works:

The indicator scans each bars high/low auctions, checking if the auction has ended properly, and if the volume exceeds a preset minimum (default 150). When these conditions are met, it draws arrows and labels just outside the bar to signal a failed auction. Areas of failed auctions are highly likely to be visited again, making an ideal Profit Target location while being in a position.
